ArtReach is an initiative of the National Arts Council to promote arts access to underserved communities for wellness, intervention and rehabilitation.
It supports artists and voluntary welfare organisations to collaborate on projects that harness the arts to achieve social outcomes, such as building resilience in at-risk youths, increasing engagement among isolated elders in the community, and developing self-expression in children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
ArtReach also forges partnerships, initiates conversations through learning and networking platforms, and develops resources to help social service practitioners, healthcare workers and volunteers kick-start and lead their own arts programmes.
How to get involved?
We are keen to work with artists and voluntary welfare organisations who want to make a difference in the social sector through the arts. Email Bernice Chew at firstname.lastname@example.org for collaboration opportunities.
